Your POV

The moment I stepped inside Bella's house, I knew something was wrong.
Screams and shouts rang in my ears from upstairs, and Bryan and Martin sat in the living room, staring at each other intently whilst they listened to the sounds of the literal chaos.
"Um, hey?" I mumbled awkwardly, shrugging off my coat. "What's going on?" My question was instant and the boys both clenched their jaws.

Bryan's blue eyes flickered over me, empty and emotionless. "You're late home... again." He raised an eyebrow, as if he was asking for an explanation.

I rolled my eyes and ran a hand through my hair. "With all due respect, you're not my brother. I don't need you telling me what to do." I sighed, pulling off my white trainers. "And what's happening upstairs?" I repeated my question, my eyes trailing up to the ceiling.

Martin shuffled on the sofa uncomfortably.
"Mom and Will are arguing again."

"Oh," I said simply, losing interest. "And where's Bella?"

Bryan intertwined his fingers behind his neck.
"Upstairs crying." He mumbled.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "What? Why?"

Both of the boys looked over at me, each of them visibly tense and agitated. "Cause she just found out that her older brother is a drug dealer." Martin stiffened, and his face crinkled in disgust as he said the words. "Will's been selling weed and cocaine."

I shuddered, secretly aware.
Panic struck through me.
How did Linda find out, I never told her.

"Will's been... drug dealing?" I tried to make out like it was the first time I had heard this, but the way my voice sounded almost gave away my lie.

"Yes, Y/n." Bryan rolled his eyes, his voice sounded irritated and impatient. "That's what drug dealers do. Clue's in the title."

"Shit," I covered my hand with my mouth, my eyes wide. "When did you guys find out?"

"About a few hours ago," Martin mumbled, closing his eyes and leaning back against the sofa. "I'm honestly shocked. I wouldn't expect that from him."

I would.

"Neither." I shook my head in a fake disappointment, before I let out an exasperated sigh. "I'm gonna go check on Bella." I announced and headed towards the stairs before Martin and Bryan could question my suspicious behaviour.

Bella was the type of person who avoided drugs and alcohol at all costs, and to find out someone close to her was selling it must've been hard.

I jogged up the staircase and winced as I heard the angry voices grow louder, they were obviously coming from Will's room, but they echoed clearly throughout the corridors as I raced past his door.
"I'm almost twenty years old, I can do whatever the fuck I want, Mom!" Will's voice was angry and unmistakable.

"No son of mine will spend his life selling weed to younger people. You're better than this, William!"
I had never head Linda shout before, but it was something else.
That woman had a loud voice.

When I reached Bella's door, I opened it to an unoccupied room, and slammed it shut behind me, holding my breath.
Bella's bed was neatly made, and a delicately written note was laying flat against the white bed-sheets.
I picked it up and read it slowly, trying to block out the conflict coming from the other bedroom.
