Jisung's POV

"Hanji..." I heard my mom's soft voice calling me and I slowly opened my eyes. She was sitting on the bed next to me, with a small smile on her face. "It's time to wake up, baby."

"I don't want to..." I mumbled and pursed my lips.

"I know, Hanji." She caressed my head. "I made breakfast for you."

"Thanks, mom."

"Why don't you go and take a shower, get dressed and come down so we can have breakfast with your father."

I nodded and after she kissed my forehead she walked out of the room. The first thing I did was to check my chat with Hyunjin. Seeing that he had only seen my message made me feel bad. Yes, it was me who wished him to have the worst night of his life but I didn't think he would leave me on seen. I put it on my bed and got up, going into the bathroom, trying to stop feeling so sad about my unanswered message.

After I was done with the shower I hurried to go in my room and get dressed. I put on a pair of jeans and a blouse when my eyes came across Hyunjin's hoodie. I bit my lip, fighting with my inner self. I wanted to put it on so bad because even though I was trying to deny it I needed him next to me at that moment. I sighed and grabbed it, putting it above my blouse. I grabbed my phone, ready to go out when I saw a notification.

HJ: good morning, love

HJ: if at any time you need me just call me

I bit my lip and reminded myself that I couldn't call him now, that I was going to be with my parents and I was going to be fine. I wondered what it would be if he was with me through the day. I wondered if I would feel better, or safer, or a bit calmer if you will. And I was sure that there should be a change. If Hyunjin was with me, I would feel safer. Right?

"Morning," My dad mumbled, rubbing his eyes. "Did you do..." he started, but my mom interrupted him.

"No! The butler helped me." She whispered and looked at dad. Did they look suspicious? Was mom pregnant? My dad didn't let her do many things. But she's skinnier?

"Ohh," mom started, "I need to buy flowers," She mumbled.

"I will buy them," My dad whispered and I nodded.

"We can buy them on our way?" I suggested and my mom smiled.

"That's a great idea." She caressed my head and sat on her chair as we started to eat. I took my phone out, remembering that I didn't answer him but my dad scolded me and I put it aside.

"Don't be too harsh on him." My mom told him and my dad shook his head.

"We are at the table and we are eating. He can text his friends later."

"What if it's important?" My mom continued but I put my hand over hers and smiled.

"It's okay, don't worry," I assured her.

After we finished we took our jackets, I took her unicorn with me and we sat in the car. I opened the chat with Hyunjin and stared at the last messages, wondering what to answer.

JS: I will be fine

The answer came almost immediately and this made me smile.

HJ: in case you happen not to be or just miss me I'm one call away, love

JS: Don't worry about me. I will text you later, I promise!

I felt my mother looking at me, the unicorn was squeezed between my chest and my hand while I was on my phone. I sent the message and looked up only to see her smile. I had no idea but felt like she wanted to tell me that she knew I wasn't texting with the boys.
