When we woke up it was already 12:00 in the afternoon.

“Elena!” I said.

“What?” she asked sleepily.

“We have to go return Messi’s jacket!” I said.

“What? You heard what Ricardo said. How will we get in?” she asked.

“I’m sure we can find someone to give it to him,” I said

“Right. Hi, I have Messi’s jacket, please give it back to him,” she said in a mock voice. “Who would believe you?” she asked.

“Well-,” I began to say.

“The other players don’t count!” she said.

“Look I know it’s a long shot but we have to try!” I said.

“Yeah ok, fine. Well we better go soon then!” she said.

We both got dressed quickly and had a quick breakfast, well more like brunch. I quickly remembered the jacket and we both left the apartment.

“We should tell Matt and Nate,” I said.

“They’re probably sleeping and will think we’re crazy!” Elena said.

“You’re right, they’ll call us if they need us,” I said.

We took the metro to the station nearest to the training centre. Luckily I remembered to check where it was on the map the day we got to Barcelona. We walked for quite a while until we finally saw the training centre with the Barcelona emblem. It was not as fancy as Camp Nou but you could still tell it was the club’s. We stood outside the gates.

“Now what?” Elena asked as she looked at me for an idea.

“I don’t know! I didn’t think this far!” I said.

“Clearly!” Elena said and then she saw someone walking towards us.

“Hmm you think we should pull another agent trick like last time?” she asked.

“No! This would be even more crazy! Plus no Fabregas to save us!” I said.

“Fine, seems like Messi won’t get his jacket then,” she said.

“I’ll find another way. Stop pushing to be 007 again ok?” I said.

“Fine, but it was so much fun!” she said. I smiled but then thought about how right Elena was. How was I going to get in?

“Do you understand me?” someone said in a superior tone. The voice sounded vaguely familiar.

“I do,” I heard a familiar voice say. Elena and I both turned around to find Ricardo and Alexander walking towards the entrance where we were.

“Should we hide?” Elena asked.

“No, how about we use this opportunity,” I said.

“Jade? Please don’t say you’re thinking what I am thinking now,” she said.

“I know he’s an ass but all we have to do is flirt a bit!” I said.

“What?! Jade what’s wrong with you?” Elena asked shocked.

“Got any better ideas?” I asked her.

“No,” she replied, “But-“

“For Messi,” I said.

“Ok fine for Messi,” she said.

“Plus we might even see Bartra inside,” I said. Instantly she became happier.
