It was like something took over me and I just said fuck it. My brand was Take Chances, Now or Never. So why in the hell was I always being so cautious? "I like it when you call me that," I whispered, close to her ear. I sensed, rather than felt, the shiver that ran through her body. I understood because it happened to me too. There was just something about this girl. Usually, I wasn't so straightforwards with girls, especially fans. I tended to eventually pull away from the crowds and just let everyone else do their thing, until it was time to leave. I wanted to hang out with her though. Spend time with her. See how she interacted with her friends, with my friends. She was...intriguing. I straightened up, and grinned. "Bathroom's right here, if you need it," I said cheekily, handing her the bag. I felt her eyes on me as I walked towards the bed, and sat next to Sam. Her friends, Denise and Kenzie, had already made their way inside and found a seat. Jake and Tara were sitting at the small table next to the balcony doors, and the other girls had sat on the other available bed. Sam and I were sitting on his bed. I glanced back and saw that Terra wasn't standing there any longer, so she must've went into the bathroom. Sam was on his phone, so I leaned over to see what he was doing. "Whatcha doooiin?" I asked, leaning my head over onto his shoulder. He turned his head to look at me, furrowing his eyebrows at my stupidity, before moving his shoulder so that I moved my head. "I'm texting Kat. She's in an Uber now, so she shouldn't be too long. Remember, I need the room," he replied, with a set gaze. I held my hands up. "I know you said that, but what am I supposed to do Sam? The others didn't leave and I don't think they are. Brennen is in there with Sarah, and Jake and Tara are getting drunk. What do you want me to do?" He looked to the ceiling then back to me. "I don't know. It's fine brother, don't worry about it." I heard the bathroom door open then, and my eyes shot over to Terra walking out. I don't think I've ever seen anyone look so good in a white t-shirt and cut off shorts. I ran my hand through my hair as I admired her. She was stuffing things back into her bag so she didn't notice me being weird. Her hair was dry, hanging down around her shoulders now. Looked like she found my blow dryer. Her suit was still wet, so the dampness had soaked through the tshirt, showing the bikini underneath, making the wet fabric stick to her skin. I swallowed, and turned my head away, shifting in my seat. I felt it when she past me, to sit on the other bed with her friends. Right in front of me. She slid her shoes off, and pulled her legs up, sitting cross legged on the bed, while running her hand through her long hair. "Kat's here. She's coming up," Sam said, standing up suddenly. He was excited and it had only been three days since he had seen her. I smiled, happy that my best friend was so in love and knowing that Katrina was perfect for him. "Time to get this party started then!" I exclaimed. "Katrina's here?" Kenzie asked, wide eyed. A fan girl, I see. I nodded at her. "Yeah, she should be here-" The knock on the door cut me off. "Now," I added. "Oh my God!" She squealed. I laughed gently. It still never failed to amaze me how people acted just from meeting me and my friends. Still felt weird. Sam walked to the door, and opened it, before being enveloped by a lot of curly blue hair. Kat dropped her bags, and wrapped her arms around his neck, as he grabbed her around the waist, picking her up. "I missed you so much," I heard him say quietly. That familiar tug pulled in my chest again, reminding me that I didn't have that. Hadn't had that for a very long time. I stood up when they walked around, and gave Kat a big hug. "Hey Colbear," she said endearingly. "Hey Kat," I replied, pulling away and giving her a smile "You have a good trip?" She nodded, and sat next to Sam on the other side. None of the girls had said a word, just staring at her with their mouths slightly open. I wanted to laugh, so I kept my face turned away from them. "Yeah, it was fine. You guys been having fun? I saw something on Twitter about you running into a girl's room, and hating on the fans or something." I rolled my eyes, and sighed, before pointing at Terra. "Terra, meet Katrina. Katrina, meet random fan girl whose room I ran into." I saw a little hurt cross Terra's face when I said that. "I mean, these are the girls that helped me out. They saved me from an oncoming hoard of screaming fan girls and boys and I can never repay them. They've been amazing." Terra met my gaze and gave me a small smile. I hoped that meant that she knew I didn't mean anything bad by what I said. She wasn't just a random fan girl. Not anymore. "It's so nice to meet you guys!" Kat gushed, bouncing on the bed a little. "Okay, Terra," she pointed, then moved on, "I'm Denise. You can call me Neece," "Kenzie. I don't care what you call me, I just can't believe you're talking to me." Kat laughed, and shook her head, keeping that beautiful smile on her face. I glanced at Sam to find him just leaning back, watching her. It was like he was in awe. Like he couldn't believe that she was his, and he was hers. The girls, including Terra, started asking Kat all kinds of questions about her music and her life in LA. I got up and grabbed a few drinks, passing them around. "Wait!" Kenzie exclaimed, cutting everyone off. "Can you show me the dance to 'Who She?'"
