I woke up in the evening without Freen by my side. After our intimate moment, I must have fallen asleep and lost track of time.

"Freen?" I called her name, but she was nowhere to be found. She must have been downstairs.

I went to the kitchen and saw her sitting on the stool of the kitchen island, with a glass of wine and a cut onion beside her. She was sobbing while looking at her phone.

"I hope you'll get well soon, my baby," she caressed her phone. She then put it down and grabbed the glass of wine, drinking all of it.

"Are you crying, Daday?" Becken's voice came from her phone, and she picked it up again, shaking her head.

"Daday is cutting onions," Freen said and showed the onion. "I'm going to cook for mommy. She's asleep, and I want to surprise her with dinner in bed."

"Asleep? Is she tired?" Becken asked again, and Freen nodded.

"And you should sleep too. I'll just tell your mommy that I called you. See you tomorrow, my baby," Freen said and kissed the screen of her phone.

When the video call ended, our eyes met, and she immediately stood up, surprised that I was there. She wiped her eyes and motioned for me to come near her.

"Are you hungry?" she asked and walked to the fridge to look for something to eat. She grabbed a slice of cake and offered it to me, but I refused.

"How's Becken?" I asked.

Freen fell silent and smiled. "He's fine. Saint fell asleep, and he's the one reading a story to him when I called."

I chuckled at Becken's cheekiness.

"You want wine?" Freen asked. "It's alcohol-free. You're safe."

"Every time I'm drunk, something's happening, so no." I politely refused, and Freen chuckled.

"I told you it's alcohol-free." She showed me the wine. She drank a glass full of wine to show me that it was non-alcoholic, but I still shook my head.

"The last time I drank your non-alcohol wine, I got drunk. I have trust issues with your wines, Freenky." I playfully glared at her.

She chuckled and took back the wine. She pulled me and made me sit on one of the stools, caressing my cheeks.

This woman is drunk. I can feel it.

"I want to meet your family, babe. I want to show them that having a child doesn't always lead to an unfortunate life. Look, you're a CEO now. For sure, they will accept you just like mine."

"My family disowned me because I chose to keep Becken," I replied. "They are okay with me being bisexual. It's just that they can't believe that I got pregnant with someone who wasn't Saint, you know, because he is rich." I shrugged.

"I'm richer. Tell that to them," she said.

Freen's knees got weak, and she almost stumbled, so I held onto her.

"You okay?" I asked and chuckled.

Freen shook her head and smiled at me. Her face was so red, and she was really drunk.

"See? It's not alcohol-free." I laughed at her.

"Help me, Becky Armstrong. I'm Freen Kneesweak." She held onto me firmly while trying to stand.

I helped her sit on the floor, and I sat beside her. Freen finally sighed and gently hit her knees.

"I'm getting older, babe. My knees are getting weak." Freen groaned and rested her head on my shoulder. "I can see Becken introducing his girlfriend to us."

I chuckled at her and patted her head. She closed her eyes and sighed again.

"But what if Becken introduced a boyfriend?" Freen asked and opened her eyes widely. "That's fine. I'll support him whatever he wants." She closed her eyes again, and I couldn't help but laugh at her. "Why are you laughing?" Freen asked and pouted.

"You're drunk, let me take you to bed." I reached for her hand, but she hid it behind her.

"The last time I was drunk, you did something to me." Freen hugged herself, acting like she was doubting what I would do to her.

"When? I don't remember." I remarked.

"You kissed me, Rebecca. I closed my eyes, and I felt your lips. And when I opened... I saw you!" She pointed at me, causing me to laugh.

Freen looked like a kid, and I couldn't help but smile at her cuteness.

"Alright, I won't do it tonight." I chuckled and reached for her hands again.

"Uh?" she asked in disappointment. "But why?" She pouted and cupped both my cheeks.

I rubbed the back of my neck because I didn't know what she really wanted.

"Fine, I'll do it. Let's go back to the room first so you can take a shower," I said.

Freen's face reddened even more. "I hate you, Becky. You're a pervert." She tried to stand and grasped the counter island. "I am drunk, but I don't have amnesia."

I laughed when I realized what she was talking about. Damn, Freen. Why are you so cute?
