I wake up when I feel a tongue on my cheek making me groan.
"Peeta that's disgusting." I say hitting him.
"Katniss, that wasn't me." he replies with a laugh.
I open my eyes and get a shock when I see Gus and his big blue eyes looking at me.
"Ew dog slaver." I say pushing him off of me so I can sit up.
"I tried stopping him." Peeta smiles making me give him a look.
"You mustn't have done a really good job." I say picking Gus up.
"I lied, I didn't really stop him." Peeta smirks making me frown.
"Il remember that, don't you worry." I reply with a sly grin as Gus rushes off of the bed and out of our room.
"Il be waiting." Peeta says pulling me so I'm lying on top of him.
"Mm hello." Peeta says.
"Hello." I reply leaning down to give him a good morning kiss.
As soon as my lips touch his I hear the sound of a cry coming from the baby monitor.
"Man, I guess we better go." I say pecking him quickly.
A lot quicker than I wanted it to be.
Peeta helps me climb out of bed and we enter lily and Tyler's room to see Lily wide awake with a frown on her little face.
I pick her out of her cot while Peeta sees if Tyler is okay.
"He's still asleep, we should leave him to rest." Peeta says and I nod my head.
We check to see willow and noah are still sleeping peacefully before carefully walking down stairs.
I hear a knock on the door neatly making me scream.
Seriously it's like half 7 in the morning.
Who is that knocking on our door when three kids are sleeping.
I walk with Lily to the door before pulling it open angrily.
"Wow someone's in a mood." Haymitch grins.
"Wow someone's annoying." I reply in the same tone.
"Sweetheart, if you want me to watch those kids tonight, I'd shut up." he answers leaning on the doorframe.
I give him a confused look before answering.
"Why would you be watching them?" I ask while he grins.
He looks at someone or something behind me before answering.
"We're going out tonight." i heat Peeta say making me turn around.
"What? Where we going." I ask confused.
"Katniss, I love the kids more than anything and I know you do, but we're allowed one night out alone. Haymitch said he's free so tonight's the night." Peeta grins making me smile.
"Really?" I ask exited.
I do love my kids more than anything in the world but me and Peeta haven't had a break for nearly 5 months.
We have 4 kids and a hyper dog, we could easily have a nice night off but of course id still miss them.
"Really." Peeta replies making me scream inside.
"Thank you and thanks Haymitch, sorry for calling you annoying even though sometimes you are." i thank them both smiling.
They both laugh before Peeta comes over to kiss my cheek.
"It's going to be a good night." he whispers in my ear.
"I heard that." Haymitch groans before walking down the steps outside our house.
"Bring them over at 6." he shouts waving goodbye.
We shut the door before walking into the sitting room and turning the tv on.
I get Lily's bottle from the table in the kitchen when I hear peetas voice.
"Katniss, you might want to see this." Peeta says with a strange smile.
"Wha-." i start when my eyes catch the screen.
"Reports say that two new love birds Johanna mason and Gale Hawthorne have had a steamy night." the reporter from the capitol says.
"These two were seen holding hands and even kissing after a night out at a posh restaurant in district yesterday night. Stay tuned for more." he finishes.
Pictures of Johanna and Gale kissing show on the screen making my jaw drop.
I didn't think they were this close already.
I thought they had only been on one date but this looks like more.
"That's it for now, goodnight." he says before the screen goes blank.
"Katniss, your catching flys." Peeta says making me slam my jaw shut.
"Did you just see?" is all I can ask.
I'm so happy for them it's unreal.
I'm glad then can have some happiness and go out in public without a care.
"Katniss. I have eyes." Peeta laughs.
"They had they're hands all over each other." I say with a grin.
"Is someone jealous?" Peeta wonders.
"No I'm just happy for them." I reply honestly.
"Me too, they're great for each other." Peeta replies talking Lily out of my arms.
Looks like it's official.
