"Peeta if you don't go now it's going to be too late." I wine trying to urge my husband out of bed.
"But katniss it's too early." he complains.
We have been having this backwards and forwards conversation for about 10 minutes now.
"Jonny has been alone for 6 months now peeta, you need to go back." I say as his head peeks for beneath the pillow.
"You trying to get rid of me?" He asks with a pout.
I wait a moment before answering.
"Yes." I smirk trying to to laugh as his pout grows bigger.
"Don't lie." he smiles and I return.
I walk over to the bed and sit on his legs as he looks up at me.
"Why can't I say home?" he wonders.
"Because Jonny needs help and you need to go back to baking nice food." I say as he looks confused.
"Don't I always?" He questions standing up.
"Of course." I reply before leaning down to kiss his lips.
"Brush you teeth smelly." I laugh before standing up.
I smile at him once more before leaving the room to sort breakfast for our hungry children.
After 10 minutes peeta wonders down the stairs looking fresh and clean making me smile.
"How do I look?" He asks striking a pose.
I can't help but remember the time Finnick did this.
"Better than before, bed hair doesn't suit you." I laugh handing him a piece of toast.
"Anything suits me." he replies making me give him a look.
"Someone's full of them self this morning." I can't help but laugh.
Surprisingly he returns.
"Okay I'm going now." he says grabbing his shoes from the corner of the hallway.
"Have fun." I shout before he peeks his head back around the edge of the kitchen door.
"Il miss you." he says sadly.
He enters the room and wonders over to give me a sweet long kiss on the lips.
He then proceeds to kiss all four kids on the top of the head.
"Be expecting a phone call." he shouts before I hear the door close.
Of course I'm going to miss him but it's good for peeta to get to work, have a break.
I can manage 4 kids by myself.
They are all as good as gold anyway.
As peeta said, he won't be gone long until the phone is ringing.
Checking to make sure we are all okay.
