I wake up with the familiar arms of my husband around me.
I look at the clock and see its 10.15.
Great we slept it and lot and since I haven't heard willow or noah I'm guessing they are also sleeping.
I turn over to face peeta and put my head on his shoulder looking up at him.
I relax for a few minutes before remembering something.
Haymitch is coming to pick willow and noah up at 11.
After hours of arguing, Haymitch insisted we needed some time to rest.
"Peeta its time to get up." I say leaning over him.
"Not yet." he says pulling me closer.
"Haymich will be here in less than an hour, we need to get willow and noah ready" I say trying to pull away.
"Just a few more minutes" he says before falling asleep again.
I slowly take his arms off my waist getting a great idea.
I go quietly into the bathroom and see a jug in the sink.
Perfect.
I fill it up with cold water and walk back into the bedroom where peeta is still sleeping.
I stop a moment thinking whether I should do it or not.
Then I remember the time at the beach when he and Finn chucked water on me.
On the count of three i throw the water in the air but get a shock when it all lands on me.
I stay still for a moment before I hear peetas laughing.
"Got you." he says trying to catch his breath.
"How did you know?" I ask wiping the water from my face.
"Well first off I wasn't asleep when you left, second you weren't quiet at all with the water and finally you were talking to yourself." he says sitting up on the bed.
"I was talking to myself?" I ask confused.
"Yeah" he says smirking.
"I never do that." I say finally smiling, well that back fired.
"You should go and shower." peeta says helping me stand up.
"Il go and get willow and Noah up but I better get clean sheets" he says and I can still hear a hint of a smirk in his voice.
"Don't forget breakfast." I say walking to the bathroom.
"How could I?" He smiles.
"Bacon sandwich." I shout before closing the door.
I take a quick shower washing my hair.
I get out and get dressed in leggings and one of peetas tops.
I go downstairs to see willow and Noah dressed and eating breakfast.
"Here you go beautiful." Peeta says handing me my bacon sandwich.
"Thanks handsome." I say pecking his cheek.
I take a seat next to willow while peeta sits next to noah.
"What should we do today?" peeta asks eating toast.
"I'm not really sure, I mean we don't have the twins today." I say before peeta starts eying me.
"Stop it now." I say before smiling.
"Well I have an idea of what we could do" I say before I hear a voice.
"And I'm sure willow and Noah wouldn't want to hear that idea." haymitch says coming into the kitchen.
"We didn't say anything." I say before peeta can.
"That's because I stopped you sweetheart" haymitch says pinching some of my bacon.
"Hey." I say slapping his hand.
"There's some left if you want some haymitch." peeta says pointing to a palate with two bits of bacon and toast.
"might as well lover boy." he says before getting the food.
We finish breakfast and I get willow and Noahs coats.
Peeta helps me dress them before haymitch appears.
"You ready kiddies?" Haymitch asks smiling at Noah and willow.
They both nod so fast I think their heads may fall off.
"Be good for Mitchy." I say giving willow and Noah a kiss.
"There always good for me." haymitch says getting willow and Noahs hand.
"Okay, we will see you soon" I say opening the door.
"Have fun you two." haymitch says before facing us.
"No to much though, I only live next door and I'm sure your kids Wouldn't want to hear weird sounds while trying to sleep" he says making m blush hard.
"Just get out." I say trying to hide it.
He smirks before leaving.
Same old haymitch but gotta love him.
