It takes a moment for what katniss just said to me to make its way into my head.
Pregnant?
Katniss is having another baby with me?
"Your pregnant?" I ask gobsmacked.
"I'm pregnant, were having another baby." she answers and I feel a smile break out onto my face.
"We're having another baby." Is all I can say before I feel tears making their way down my face.
I pull katniss into a huge loving hug and she pulls away to wipe the fallen tears.
"How long have you known?" I choke out taking a hold of her hand.
"Not long, I found out yesterday." she replies with a smile just as big as mine.
"That's why you were sick." I laugh making her smile wider.
We hear laughing and turn to see gus and our children running towards us.
"Mommy, daddy." they shout before jumping into our arms.
Gus lays gown on the grass, tired from the sun.
"Guess what kids, mommys having another baby." I say wrapping a arm around katniss' back.
"Baby." willow shouts making us both laugh.
"Your going to be a big sister and big brother." I hear katniss say and still the smile never leaves my face.
"How far along are you?" I ask sitting noah down on my knee.
"A month." she answers getting willow comfortable on her knee.
"Does anyone else know?" I wonder still holding her hand.
"Haymitch, he seen me going to the doctors yesterday and I didn't even have to tell him, he just knew." she answers and I can't help but laugh.
Trust Haymitch to know everything.
"I know it's a while away but I'm so excited." I beam
"Me too" she answers and I turn to face her.
"Can I?-" i start not sure if I should ask.
Katniss rolls her eyes before placing my hand on her stomach.
It's as if she knew what I was going to ask.
"Hi baby." i start touching katniss stomach carefully.
"I can't wait to meet you, your going to be so lucky having such a good mommy and wonderful brother and sister." I say looking at willow and noah.
They look confused but they are only 2.
They'll have no idea katniss is pregnant until she's nearly due.
"Hey your a great father." katniss says and I look into her eyes.
"Your an ever better mother." I reply moving my hand to her cheek.
"Only because your here to help." she answers and now it's my turn to roll my eyes.
Before I can answer she pulls me into her and my lips melt with hers.
I rub my tongue across her bottom lip and she happily lets my tongue meet hers.
I smile into the kiss and I feel her do the same.
After a moment we pull away starting to breath heavily.
"I love you so much. I love you all." I say keeping one hand on her cheek and placing the other on her stomach before looking at willow and noah who are playing together.
"I love you all too" my beautiful wife answers pecking my lips once more.
I can't believe we're having another baby.
I can't believe I'm going to be a father again.
I'm the luckiest husband alive!
