Timeskip 1 month:

"Chappo! Chappo! Chappo! Chappo!" You exclaimed as your brother entered the tower.

"(y/n)!  (y/n)! (y/n)! (y/n)!" He responded,  mimicking your tone.

"Please, some of us have a hangover!" Jethro whined from where he sat at the desk, buried in his hoodie.

"Sorry Jeth, but some of us have exciting letters to open and a brother who took his time getting to work this morning." You half apoligised.

"I'm on time..... Ish." Chappo laughed.

"Anyway, what very exciting letter do we have?" He asked.

"Competition results letter." You told him, holding up the large envelope.

"I thought we'd get a phone call or something- this is like getting your GCSE results back." Chappo replied as he examined the mail.

"Yea! Now can we open it pleeeeeaaaassseeee!" You requested, beginning to get impatient after staring at the delivery all morning.

"Yeeessssss,  do you want to do the honors?" He questioned just as you had an idea for a prank you could pull on the other boys. This inevitable meant slipping into 'eye conversation' mode.

"I thought we told you two not to do that, it's really freaky." Kerbox stated, half jokingly but half seriously.

"Sorry, sorry, now shall we see where we came Chips?" You questioned your brother.

"Yep open it up (y/n)." He replied before your slowly pulled a thick card certificate from the envelope to reveal your position to only you and Chappo.

"So? How did you two do?" Reidy enquired.

"We came fifth out of five..." Chappo answered in a small voice which made you want to burst out laughing.

"But think about it, that's more like fifth out of forty-ish teams." Whippet reassured the both of you.

It was hard to act upset with the result because realistically, you would have been really happy with coming fifth out of the entire competition.

"I guess..." You responded before slumping down onto the vacant chair next to Reidy. Out of the corner of your eye you could see Chappo nearly breaking into a smile.

"I don't believe you two because Chappo looks like he's going to wet himself and Marley is biting the insides of her cheeks like she always does when she's trying not to laugh." Maxi deduced and you and Chappo erupted into roars of laughter.

"Nice work Mr Holmes." You praised Maxi, shaking his hand.

"So what did you actually get?" Reidy asked.

Instead of answering him, Chappo flipped round the certificate he still held in his hands to show the rest of the boys in the tower.

"We got first!"
