Timeskip 2 months:

"Chappo, are you sure you want to do this for a whole day?" You asked.

Even thought you knew that he would love it and be able to cope just fine, you felt guilty about leaving him with two small babies.

You did also feel weary about leaving Ethan and Arthur overnight but you had to come to terms with the fact you couldn't be holding onto them for every second of every day.

"I'll be fine, they love spending time with their uncle Chappo!" He assured whilst taking the carriers from your arms.

Your arm strength has definitely increased drastically after having to carry around a two baby carriers all the time.

"Thanks so much Chips." You responded, giving him a huge embrace.

"Yea thanks Chap, we really appreciate it!" Harrison added.

"That's OK! Now you guys go surfing and have some child free time!" He directed and you proceeded to squat down in front of the baby seats.

"Bye baby boys, Mummy loves you!" You told them before gently placing a kiss on their foreheads. They both smiled up at you which had to be one of your favorite things they could do now they were slightly older.

"Bye babies, Daddy loves you too and be good for uncle Chappo." Harrison instructed them, pulling you slightly to get you to leave the apartment.

"Call if anything happens, bye Chips!" You waved before finally leaving. Harrison must have noticed the partly sad expression that showed on your features.

"Baby, they are going to be fine. Chap is so good with them. Let's just go surfing." He told you.

"I know it's just that I've never left them for more than half an hour with someone that wasn't you." You replied as he put an arm around you and you embarked upon the stairwell.

"Yea, I know its hard but he will call if he needs us." Harrison reaussred whilst rubbing your shoulder.

"You're right, now let's go surfing!"

Timeskip to in the water:

Even though you could never stop being worried about Ethan and Arthur, you had decided to focus on the surf and the fun that you and Harrison would have. Since they were born, the two of you had had no alone except from when they were asleep. But by that time you were normally exhausted and asleep too!

"How are you out that far already?!" Harrison exclaimed. Backpackers was really pulling and he was having more trouble than usual getting out.

"You forget that when you're at work, I have to lug around either a double buggy or two car seats!" You laughed, during which he eventually caught up to you.

"First wave in wins?" You suggested, already sighting the perfect wave not too far behind you.

"You're on!" Harrison replied and you began paddling for the wave you had chosen.

Stroke after stroke, anticipation raced through your body and you almost forgot about your motherly stress.

Once you were on the wave, you wasted no time in jumping to your feet.

It was shortly after that you discovered this may not have been the perfect wave.

As soon as you got were stood up, the green water turned white as the wave's crest broke. Let's just say it was a lot more powerful that it looked.

At the same time as the board dropped down, you heard your knee click and felt the same excruciating pain as you had years earlier when you were on holiday in Cornwall.

Maybe it wasn't the babies you should have been worrying about...
