Chappo's Little Sister

Pleeeaaaasssseee

"Chips..." you asked mischievously and your brother knew what was about to follow.

"Yes (y/n)?" He answered

"Can I come to work with you today?" Chappo laughed as you pulled the 'puppy dog' eyes on him

"(y/n) I really don't think..." You cut him off before he could finish his excuse.

"Please please pleaseeeeeee" you whined hoping he would give in eventually. You had been staying with your brother for a couple days now now while your parents packed up the house for a move from Whitehaven to Bondi. He was supposed to have the whole week you were staying booked of work but one of the lifeguards got injured on shift so he had to cover.

"Fine fine fineeeeeee!" He said imitating your tone of voice.
"But you have to understand that I'm not meant to bring my 13 year old sister to work"

"Yayyyyyyy thank you chips!" You exclaimed, ignoring his previous statement and throwing yourself into his arms.

"Who's on shift today?" you enquired, wriggling away from him

"I think it's Harries, Whippet, Kerbox, Terry, Hoppo, Maxi and Reidy" You smiled to yourself, looking foward to a day with the boys in blue.

"Grab your board and swimmers (y/n) and I'll take you out in the surf after my shift!" He said as you finished the last mouthful of your cereal and darted across the apartment to your temporary bedroom.

Time skip
You returned 10 minutes later in a new outfit with your board by your side and your swimmers in a rucksack which was thrown over your shoulder.

Your outfit:

a/n- I know these don't all match but your 13 in this and going to the beach so your not really bothered 😂

"I'm ready!" you called as you waited by the front door for your brother

"Coming!" He called back from his bedroom as he reappeared in his lifeguard uniform.

"One day I'm going to be going to work at the beach wearing uniform the same as yours!" You stated as chappo place his waverly council cap on your head.

"I'm sure you will (y/n)!" He replied knowing it was true.

Time skip to arriving at the beach:

"Behave yourself" Chappo said sternly to you as you tried to suppress a grin at his sudden seriousness

"When don't I?" You answered mischievously making your brother give you a look
"Okay okay I promise!" You assured as chappo opened the door to the tower.

"Hey guys, my sister is staying with me for a bit for I thought I'd bring her in for a day" chips said as you placed your board in the corner of the room.

"Mini chappo!" Reidy called and ran up an hugged you. As Chappo's close friend, Reidy knew you very well and saw you as a little sister.

"What brings you here (y/n)?" He continued

"I'm staying with Chappo whilst my parents pack up our house for our move here to Bondi!"

"I'm guessing we'll be seeing a lot more of you round here then!"

"I guess so"

"Chappo's on tower duty today so d'you wanna come out with me on the rhino?" Reidy questioned although he already knew your answer.

"Yes please!" You replied smiling from one ear to the other as the lifeguards laughed at your enthusiasm.

"Reidy do not do anything stupid and get my sister killed!" Your brother butted in just as you were leaving.

"You worry too much Chappo, I'm a very responsible adult!" Reidly retorted as Chappo rolled his eyes.
