Time skip:

The ambulance had now arrived which was a relief for your leg had turned an even deeper red and was more painful despite the effects of the green whistle.

"So what happened?" The paramedic asked as he approached the medical bed.

"She got stung by a ton of blue bottles and her leg just started going deep red and being really painful." Chappo explained on your behalf as you were still sort of out of it.

"Has she been stung by them before?" The other medic questioned.

"Yea she's been stung by them when she was little but this has never happened before." Your brother answered.

"This looks like a type of allergic reaction to the sting, do you have an epi-pen in here?" He enquired.

"Yes we do I'll go get one." Whippet replied so Chappo could stay with you.

"(y/n), we're just going to give you a shot of adrenaline and then it should stop causing you pain and return to normal colour. Is that alright." One of the paramedics asked you.

"Yea that's fine. "You said taking Chappo's hand into yours for support.

Whippet then passed the epi-pen to the medic who then injected it into your leg.

"Your leg should return to normal but because of the tension the pain caused on your muscles you will still struggle to walk on it for a week or two so we'll give you these..." He explained passing you a pair of crutches.

"Okay Thankyou!" You answered.

"Come to the hospital if it worsens." He said as him and his colleague started to walk out of the tower.

"We will, Thankyou for your help. " Chappo thanks just as the door closed. He then turned to you.

"Are you alright now (y/n)?" He asked- still concerned for your wellbeing.

"Yea it hurts less and look," you replied point to your leg, "it's not really red anymore."

"That's good, do you want to go home or stay here?" He enquired.

"Stay here!" You exclaimed as you definitely didn't want to spend another day at home.

"Wait, why did you call her 'Kaia' earlier?" Kerrbox asked Chappo.

"When she was a baby one of the things that would calm her down if she was fussing would be the sound of the ocean so I used to call her 'Kaia' because it means 'sea' in Hawaiian." He explained.

"Do I have to use these?" You huffed gesturing to the crutches before the boys could comment on Chappo's explanation.

"You don't have to if you can walk without them." Chappo answered, knowing you wouldn't be able to.

"You think I can't but I definitely can." You stated as you began to get of the bed.

You started with your left leg which was obviously fine. However when you put your right leg down you gasped in pain and stumbled over to grab onto your brother to relief the weight from your leg again- clenching your teeth from pain every time pressure was applied to it.

" Fine, you win!" You sighed before hopping  over to the desk and sitting down at the chairs and putting your right leg upon the vacant one next to you.
