(Aaron's POV)
It's been about a day since they've been gone. But since then Lucinda, Garroth, and Zane have been comforting me. I can do this. I'm sure I can survive a few days without Aph.
Garroth let me stay in his house for a few nights. Lucinda opened the door in the guest room where I was at. I was sitting on the bed staring at the picture from high school.
"Aaron?" Lucinda asked me.
I looked up.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"Are you feeling any better now?" She said.
There was silence for a moment.
"Yes. But I can do this." I said.
She smiles at me.
"Okay." She replied.
I hear my phone ringing. It's Aphmau.
"Lucy I gotta take this call." I told her.
I walked out of the guest room and into the living room and talked to Aphmau on the phone.
"Aaron?" She said on the other line.
"Aphmau?" I reply back.
"Hi." She said.
"Hey. How are you guys doing?" I asked.
"We're doing fine. What about you?" She replied.
"I'm okay. Plus Katelyn gave me your little wolf just to keep me company." I said.
"Oh! You have woof?" She asked.
"Yep." I reply.
"That's nice. I hope I'll get to see you again soon." Said Aphmau.
"Alright. See ya." I said.
"See ya. Bye." She told me.
I hung up. I'm glad she's doing okay.
Garroth and Zane enter the living room.
"Hey Aaron." Garroth said.
I turn to them.
"Hi." I said.
"We were wondering if you wanted some pizza." Zane asked.
"Sure." I reply.
"Okay. I'll get it ready." Zane said.
I walk back up to the guest room and look at the picture from high school.
"I promise I'll cook for you when you get back babe." I said to myself aloud.
"As long as you don't burn the food." Said an unfamiliar voice I've never heard of.
I turn around to realize that it was the wolf plush who spoke.
"WHAT?! You're... talking?!" I exclaimed.
"Thought I was just a regular plush huh? Well now you know." Said the plush.
I pick it up.
"You were able to talk this whole time?! Did Aphmau know about this?" I panicked.
"Yep. Plus Aphmau knew since college." The plush replied.
Aphmau knew all along and never told me?! Okay I'm not gonna even ask how this thing can talk.
"This can't be happening!" I yelled quietly.
"It's happening. Wether you believe it or not." The plush said.
I look at it speechlessly.
"Holy mother of Irene... I've got some questions for Aph when she gets back..." I thought.
