Chapter 102: A Toilet Paper Dress

(Melissa's POV)

I was so exhausted I had to lay down on the floor next to Pierce. I guess I can't keep up with an 8 year old. Kawaii~Chan was next to Noi, Aphmau was next to Leif and Dottie was next to Rhys. I look at Dottie.

"I would like to go 20 minutes without going through a bunch of craziness. Is that too much to ask?" She asked with exhaustion.

"For a werewolf who now has ice magic, oh yeah." I replied.

"I... I don't know... how much more of this I can take..." Said Rhys.

"Gha. It's all stupid, pointless tasks." Said Asch.

Noi giggles.

"I enjoyed being a pony though. I got my hair brushed." He said.

"And sugar cubes." Said Pierce.

"Pierce, you sound like you're having a mini-seizure." I said.

"Yep." Said Aphmau.

"Agree." Kawaii~Chan added.

I saw Marlene enter the room.

"Alright guys, here comes the bride!" She said.

Ava entered the room wearing toilet paper for a dress. Aphmau tried to cover her giggles. So did Kawaii~Chan.

"Oh my Irene! You look like Tiffany from Chucky 5!" I exclaimed.

"You mean the one where she's not wearing the leather jacket?" Dottie asked.

"Yes." I replied.

"Marleeeennnee...." Ava groaned.

"And the winner of the bride is.... Noi!" Said Marlene.

Kawaii~Chan then frowned.

"Aww what?" She asked.

Noi was excited about that.

"I did it!" He said with joy.

"There is no way Noi is getting Ava!" Said Asch.

Leif then pulls out his daggers.

"I'll kill you for her!" He exclaimed.

Pierce then pulls out his sword.

"Lets go!" He said.

"Violence is never the answer...." Said Rhys.

He pulls out his staff.

"But in this case..." He said.

Me, Aphmau, and Dottie's eyes widened. We grab the weapons.

"Give me those!" Aphmau exclaimed as she took Leif's daggers away.

"Stop it!" I said as I took Pierce's sword away from him.

"No way I—" Said Dottie as she took Rhys's staff away from him. She then stopped as she saw the staff slightly glow in her hand.

The glow faded quickly. I'm guessing the staff is responding to her magic.

"Umm... You guys know this is just a pretend wedding right?" Marlene asked.

The demons eyes widened with shock. Me and the others do the same.

"Huh?" We all asked in confusion.

"Look, I don't have the power of a true kid to make it legit. My certification is from play-doh." Said Marlene.

"So princess Ava is still open to marriage." Said Asch.

"So all of that was for nothing?" Leif asked.

"Yep." Said Marlene.

~~Time Skip~~

Some time has passed and Marlene finally left the apartment. We let our ears and tail out. We also got into our pjs. The demons were all exhausted from today.

Ava got into her pjs.

"It's about time you guy out of that itchy toilet paper." I said.

"Agreed." Ava replied.

"Yeah." Said Aphmau.

I noticed that Dottie was looking down as she sat on her sleeping bag. Her ears and tail flopped down.

"Dottie?" I asked.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"What's wrong?" I asked her.

"Remember when we tried to stop the demons from using their weapons?" Dottie asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Well when I grabbed Rhys's staff, it slightly glowed in my hands for a brief moment." She said.

"Oh." I said.

"I think it's responding to my magic or something." She said.

"It's possible." I replied.

We then stopped talking and we got into our sleeping bags and fell asleep. Today was one crazy day. I'm positive tomorrow will be even crazier.
