Chapter 57: She Needs Rest

(Dottie's POV)

I was sitting on the couch. I looked at the stars and thought about Daniel. I bet he misses me. I noticed Rhys exiting Ava's room. He was reading a woman's magazine. I sighed.

"Hmm... humans have fascinating combat preferences. Or is this even combat at all like..." Said Rhys as he looks at the magazine.

I put my hand on my face.

I noticed Noi running out of the portal in the wall. He was carrying Ava in his arm. Kawaii~Chan held onto his shirt. She let go and face planted onto the floor.

"Ow!" Kawaii~Chan said.

"What the...?" I said in confusion as Noi passed by me.

"What's going on?" Rhys asked.

"THEY KILLED AVA!!" Noi yelled.

My eyes widened.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

"Killed?" Rhys asked.

Leif appears out of thin air and his daggers were out.

"Give her back to me you weakliiiiiiinnnngg, oh no..." Leif said as he noticed Rhys. Leif immediately put his daggers away.

Rhys looked upset.

"What, is going on?" He asked.

Asch entered the room carrying Aphmau. Pierce entered as well doing the same thing to Melissa.

"Noi, I will kill you— aaahhh!" Asch says as he noticed Rhys.

He runs back into the portal in the wall with Aphmau.

"Come out here now!" I tell him.

"You said you wanted to see him." Kawaii~Chan added as she stood up.

"I wanted to explain the situation first." Asch said on the other side of the portal.

"Wait..." Rhys said as he mumbled under his breath.

He drops the book. He now looks mad.

"You actually killed her?!" Rhys exclaimed.

He rushed over to Noi. Noi gives Ava to Rhys. Rhys carries her in his arms.

"Rhys, do something!!" Noi whined.

Rhys puts Ava on the couch.

"Hold on!" Rhys said.

Pierce puts Melissa down.

Asch then enters the room and puts Aphmau down.

He turns to Pierce.

"This is all your fault Pierce." Asch said.

"I did not do anything!" Pierce yelled.

The two start to argue.
