Pen Name: FaithEri

Username: FaithEri

Is your pen name your legal name? If no, then how did you make up one?

No, it's not. When it's comes to writing, the most important and challenging part has been to have faith in myself and my abilities. Eri means guardian in another language and it sounds interesting. I really liked the idea of combining these two so that is how I came up with my username.

How many books have you published till date?

On Wattpad, I've published four books till now.

What are your future projects?

Currently I'm working on a sequel to one of my books and plan to focus on that. But I'll be writing more romance books and teen fictions after that.

What is writing to you?

At the end of the day, my stories are the one thing I get to call mine and it is the best damn feeling in the world.

Is being an author, your long time dream or a hidden passion you found out later?

It's a hidden passion I found out later. I started writing out of boredom and was sure I would give up in a few days, but now here I am. I am so grateful for the day I first decided to start writing.

What genre books you like to work on?

Romance, teen fictions, mental health.

If we challenge you to write a book of another genre we suggest, then would you take it up?

I would love to try!

Then we would love to read a werewolf genre book from you soon.

Writing is a reality that paints a beautiful fantasy. What do you think are the charms of writing fiction/non fictional books?

You get to experience things through your character's journey which you may never get to experience in real life. Books are always the best escape.

Who are your favorite authors in and out of wattpad?

John Green is one of my favorite writers out there. His books are amazing.

Name few of your close wattpad friends.

I don't have many! I'd love to interact with more people in the future though.

What is your favorite series you have recently watched or read?

I just finished watching The Society on Netflix. I am also re-watching Castle and Friends. Gossip Girl is one of my favorite shows too!

Who is your favorite actor/actress?

This keeps changing all the time, but I love Zac Efron (I mean who doesn't?) Emma Watson, Elizabeth Lail.

Who is your favorite Villain you couldn't help but love?

Klaus Mikaelson.

What are your hobbies other than writing and reading?

I like drawing and painting. I'm quite good at paper quilling. I love photography as well.

What are your hidden talents?

Writing!

Who is your first celebrity crush?

Dylan Sprouse.

What is the most embarrassing situation that you have ever been through?

There are so many, I don't even know which one is the worst! I mean all are so bad so let's just skip to the next question!

One craziest thing you have ever done?

I've done hang gliding and that's probably the craziest, but one of the most amazing things I've done.

There are many authors who just started their journey and many readers who want to write but has no courage to do so. Please give them a tip and a word of encouragement.

Be patient. Don't rush yourself, write when you feel truly inspired. Think from your character's point of view and try to mentally live the story you're writing so you feel connected to it. Stay focused and don't think too much about the likes and comments especially if you're new. It takes time for people to discover your work so just keep writing. Welcome criticism, ignore hate.

Last but not the least, have you ever dreamt of writing your own comic?

Not really.
