Is your pen name your legal name? If no, then how did you make up one?

My pen name is pretty close to my legal name! I made it up by mushing together my married name and my maiden name.

How many books have you published till date?

Oh, I feel like that's a hard question! I've published at least 15 books on Wattpad, but they're not all available here any more. In 2020 I have five physical books coming out that will be available for purchase in bookstores and online, all of which started out as drafts here on Wattpad.

What are your future projects?

I have a whole bunch of projects in line for 2020, including an adult werewolf x vampire romance, a futuristic YA novel, and a NA science fiction love story between a human and an android. I think I'm going to start the werewolf x vampire one first, if I get my current project (an adult fantasy romance) completed by the end of Nanowrimo!

What is writing to you?

Writing is a way to explore my own inner creativity and also process different things that have happened to me throughout my life. Most of what I have written has been aimed at YA audiences and those who like to read those types of stories, and have been focused on social and mental health issues. I love writing as a vehicle to connect with others as well, to make readers feel like they aren't alone in managing issues that may arise in their lives, but also offer a bit of an escape from daily life and allow them to use their own creativity and imaginations.

Is being an author, your long time dream or a hidden passion you found out later?

I think it's a little bit of both. I always enjoyed writing and storytelling when I was growing up, but I never pursued it seriously until a few years ago. Since then I feel as if I've learned a lot about the craft of writing and telling stories!

What genre books you like to work on?

I write a little bit of everything from middle grade paranormal books to adult romance.

If we challenge you to write a book of another genre we suggest, then would you take it up?

That sounds like fun! I'd certainly try it out if I had the capacity to work on it.

Then we would love to read a Crime Thriller Romance book from your soon.

Writing is a reality that paints a beautiful fantasy. What do you think are the charms of writing fiction/non fictional books?

I think writing fiction is such a great way to escape and stretch one's imagination. It allows you to see the world through different lenses and learn about places, real or imagined, that you may never experience first hand. I think it's fascinating that writing can take us so many different places.

Who are your favorite authors in and out of wattpad?

I love Sarah Dessen, John Green, Kristin Hannah, and so many others! On Wattpad I love reading solacingbateauxtamaralushvan_carleykatenorthtahliepurvisstephrose1201lailalilianakrazydiamondhubrismmoonraess and so, so many more. Give me all the books!

Name few of your close wattpad friends.

Oh no! I wouldn't want to accidentally leave anyone out. But I do have a lot of wonderful friends on the wattpairsmentorship team who are just lovely people.

What is your favorite series you have recently watched or read?

I'm not a big fan of series as I don't like waiting to find out the endings of things! But I did recently just ask for the box set of The 100 for Christmas..

Who is your favorite actor/actress?

KJ Apa, Tom Felton

Who is your favorite Villain you couldn't help but love?

I can't think of one off the top of my head!

What are your hobbies other than writing and reading?

Cooking, playing with my cats, napping, painting.

What are your hidden talents?

I don't think I've discovered them yet!

Who is your first celebrity crush?

Jonathan Taylor Thomas back when he played Randy on Home Improvement!

What is the most embarrassing situation that you have ever been through?

I'd rather not share that all over Wattpad - LOL!

One craziest thing you have ever done?

I tend to not be a very impulsive person, so I don't think I've done anything particularly crazy in my life. I prefer to have things well-planned out and safe!

There are many authors who just started their journey and many readers who want to write but has no courage to do so. Please give them a tip and a word of encouragement.

Wattpad is a wonderful place to start writing with lots of people who are willing to help and encourage you to improve and move forward in your writing career or hobby. Definitely take advantage of the platform in the best ways you can - join book clubs and read other's work in order to learn more about how to improve what you're sharing. Make connections and network with other authors and readers. It can take a little hard work, but it's definitely worth it!

Last but not the least, have you ever dreamt of writing your own comic?

I've never thought about it, no!
