Pen Name: Micah Good

Username: titanically-

Is your pen name your legal name? If no, then how did you make up one?

Yes, my pen name at this point is my legal name. I used to go by 'Mya Wood' (chosen to be purposefully similar to my real name) and 'Abbi Worth' (which I have no idea why I chose; I think I just liked the sound of it at the time?)

How many books have you published till date?

I have posted six on Wattpad (though not all are currently up), one of which will be an actual print book in February 2020!

What are your future projects?

I like to be rather secretive regarding future projects, but I will say I'm currently working on a mash-up of several ideas I've been toying with over the past few years—powered people, devious royalty, enemies-to-lovers romance. We'll see where it takes me!

What is writing to you?

Writing started out being something I did for fun, and it has grown into something that is therapeutic for me. Getting my thoughts out onto paper (or computer document, as it were) is a nice feeling.

Is being an author, your long time dream or a hidden passion you found out later?

I've been writing in some capacity since middle school, but being actually published has been kind of a hidden dream of mine—something I would imagine in my daydreams but couldn't actually see happening. So the fact that it is...wow!

What genre books you like to work on?

I'm fairly explorative when it comes to writing in different genres—I've written historical fiction, fantasy, contemporary, etc. The things I tend to stay away from are horror and/or mystery. At this point, I don't feel that I can execute a mystery to the extent where I would feel good about writing one, and I don't like reading horror, so I've never really thought to write it.

If we challenge you to write a book of another genre we suggest, then would you take it up?

As to whether or not I would accept a genre challenge, I'm afraid I will have to decline at this time. I have a lot of ideas I would like to devote my time to first.

Writing is a reality that paints a beautiful fantasy. What do you think are the charms of writing fiction/non fictional books?

Personally, I like to write fiction. However, that isn't to say that I don't include elements of my non-fictional self. I think the charm of fiction is that it can serve as an escape from the reality you as an individual live in, while also giving you a different lens through which to view the world when you finish reading.

Who are your favorite authors in and out of wattpad?

I love Holly Black, Stephanie Garber, and Leigh Bardugo, off Wattpad. On Wattpad, I've been loving concussivetrivialpotter and seekabsolution. (Once a Legend, Forgetting Billions, Drowing <3)

Name few of your close wattpad friends.

trivialpotter and concussive

What is your favorite series you have recently watched or read?

Stephanie Garber's Caraval series for reading. Downton Abbey for watching.

Who is your favorite actor/actress?

I don't really have one, at this moment.

Who is your favorite Villain you couldn't help but love?

Loki, obviously. Not even a question.

What are your hobbies other than writing and reading?

Drawing, graphic design, hand lettering.

What are your hidden talents?

Drawing and cooking.

Who is your first celebrity crush?

My first ever celebrity crush was Tom Hiddleston (because Loki).

What is the most embarrassing situation that you have ever been through?

Having to read a children's book (with voices) in front of my speech teacher who scared me and my entire high school speech class. (For anyone who fears speech class, it does get better. Having to speak other places is a lot different feeling from having to speak in high school speech class—I passed college speech class with an A and spoke at my graduation. The embarrassment of this memory has started to fade. You can do this!)

One craziest thing you have ever done?

I haven't really done anything too crazy... at the time, posting my reading for other people to read seemed crazy. Also, cool-crazy (at least to me): I've watched brain surgery (like in the OR watched brain surgery).

There are many authors who just started their journey and many readers who want to write but has no courage to do so. Please give them a tip and a word of encouragement.

Just keep writing (like Dory in Finding Nemo: "Just keep swimming!") That's the important thing. Even when you don't feel good about your words, just keep writing, and then you can look back later. You might find, like I often do, that it's better than you thought. Also, you've got this! You are amazing. You will only get better by doing. Keep going.

Last but not the least, have you ever dreamt of writing your own comic?

I have, especially seeing as how I like drawing as well as writing. I have actually illustrated some scenes from my books, as well as illustrated a small narrative that I did for my college Composition class. However, I don't feel at this point that I would be comfortable publishing such a com
