And then it happened. A light bulb went off in his eyes.

'Wait, epinephrine? Adrenaline?'

Raymond swallowed hard.

'This magic?'

"Pulse in the 80s!"

Hanson shouted, and Raymond squeezed his eyes shut.

There was no more time to think.

He had to yell.

'Buy magic!'

[The skill is too high for your class rank! You can't acquire it!]

[You 'rent' the magic!]

"Rent?

He had never heard the term before.

[Rent: You can borrow a high-ranked skill that you can't master with your current class rank and use it a limited number of times.]

[You've spent 100 skill points!]

[Berserker Magic]
(Rent 0/3 times)

[Classification: Support (Magic) Skill

Magic Rank: Advanced

Proficiency : D

-Inflicts the curse of a berserker!
-The target becomes a powerful combatant, fueled by a rush of adrenaline!
-The higher the proficiency, the more powerful the berserker!
-Caution: This is a 'rental' skill, you can use it a total of 3 times.]

A whopping 100 points for three uses! It was ridiculously expensive, but that wasn't the point now.

'Will this work?'

Raymond gritted his teeth.

A curse spell!

But he couldn't think of anything else.

'Use magic! Berserker's curse!'

Raymond placed his hand over the patient's heart and gambled.

Slip.

An invisible light emanated from Raymond's hand.

It was the Berserker's Curse.

'Result?'

Then a message popped up.

[The curse target's consciousness is 'comatose'!]

[Fails at the chaotic curse!]

And.

Epinephrine spurted, pounding!

The patient's heart pulsed wildly.

"Her blood pressure is back up, and her pulse is back in the 130s!"

After checking her vitals, Hanson exclaimed in surprise. Raymond looked surprised too.

'It worked!'

It was a gamble, but it worked!

Even better, she's in a coma, so no delirium.

'Well, yeah. You'd have to be conscious to cause delirium.'

Raymond patted his chest.

Berserker magic.

It seemed to have limited use in cases of shock severe enough to cause a coma.

'Of course, it's best to implement epinephrine, but it's a curse, I never know what side effects it might have.'
