"How much longer do we have to wait, Y/n?" My father asks while tapping his fork onto the table. Today was an important day where I would introduce my boyfriend, Jay to my family. "Just a bit longer Father."
I picked up my phone and went to I and Jay's messages.

I turned off my phone and put it on the table. "He's here." I said, fixing my dress and pushing in my chair. Mother and Father sat across from me, Mother in an elegant dress while Father sat in a classic, black suit to match the fancy setting.
"I'm here." I heard Jay's deep voice announce as he sat by me. I looked to my side to see him looking at my parents. "Hello, I'm Jay. Y/n's boyfriend." He stated. He wore an all black suit along with a blue tie. He wore his hair slicked back.
He matched my Father's example of what the perfect man would be for his daughter. I looked to see my parents and they looked mesmerized. Before Jay could say anything more both my Mother and Father flooded him with questions.
"What did you eat to be so beautiful?" "What is your job?" "Who are your parents?" Jay blinked trying to process every word. "Hey! Stop flooding him with questions." I pouted. "Ask him a question at a time.."
My father leaned forward, resting his arms on the table and looked into Jay's eyes. "Do you think you're the one, for Y/n?" He asked.
