Soulmate AU: Red String

Plot: Balloony is upset because he can't find his soulmate, and Cloudy comforts him about it.

(A/N): Mentioned Woody x Blocky, and I'm going to try the Cloudy accent.

Balloony's POV

I saw Woody and Blocky walk away, holding hands. They just figured out that they were soulmates.

I'm happy for my son, but kinda jealous as well.

This whole time, I never found MY soulmate!

It's a good thing that everyone else is happy, but I sure feel lonely...

The only thing I know about my soulmate is that they will be a male, because I'm gay. Having a female as a soulmate wouldn't make sense!

And I don't exactly have an idea of who he will be. Most of the contestants already have soulmates, except for Grassy, Rocky, Cloudy, Teardrop, Snowball, and Lightning.

I really hope my soulmate doesn't end up being Grassy or Rocky. They're kids, and I'm like their dad! Teardrop is a female...I think...Snowball is pretty mean, and Lightning isn't exactly my type.

Maybe it's Cloudy! I've always had a big crush on him, but I don't think he feels the same way...

Cloudy's POV

Wow, I sure do love 'gollecting soulmate couples! I already have 14 pairs! Maybe I can find more!

As I flew around looking for more couple to 'gollect, I heard Palloony sigh heavily, sounding disappointed! He was sitting on a bench all alone!

I made my way to him, and said, "Palloony, what's wrong? You look depressed!"

He looked at me, obviously upset. "I'm just sad that I haven't found my soulmate yet! Everyone else is finding who they get to be with forever, but I feel lonely..."

Poor Palloony! He doezn't dezerve this! "I'm sorry about that..."

I got closer to the taller male, and tried to give him a hug, but since I don't have arms, it was more like snuggling into him.

I think I'm gay now-

"C-Cloudy?" He stuttered. Oh god, I made him uncomfortable!

I back away. "Ah, I-I'm sorry Palloony!"

He looked star struck for a while, when requesting, "Cloudy, the red string..."
