Chapter 25

Shawn realized what happened and immediately ran to me.
Shawn: "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god"
He kneeled down in front of me.
Shawn: "Claire! Are you okay? Oh my god, she's crazy!"
He took my hand and helped me get up.
Me: "Wha- What did you tell her to make her that mad?"
He looked down at his feet, looking slightly embarrassed.
Me: "Shawn?"
Shawn: "We broke up"
Aaliyah and I both gasped, I have forgotten about that.
Aaliyah: "Bu- Why? You told me you wanted to marry her like 2 weeks ago!! What happened?"
He looked at me, straight in my eyes.
Shawn: "I met someone else"
He placed something in my pocket, making sure Aaliyah wouldn't see it.
Aaliyah was looking at Shawn. She didn't understand. Shawn turned around and left, without saying anything else.
Aaliyah: "What the- Do you have an idea of who it could be?"
Me: "Ehm, no" i lied.
Aaliyah and I both went upstairs, in her bedroom. We kinda forgot about what happened and we talked and had a lot of fun. What I like the most about Aaliyah is that even if she doesn't know everything, she knows how to keep my mind off of things that makes me anxious.
After about an hour of talking and laughing, I went to the bathroom.
I was about to pull my pants down when the paper fell out of my pocket and landed beside the toilet.
Fuck. I forgot. Shawn put a piece of paper in my pocket and I totally forgot.
I quickly take the paper and unfold it. Shawn had written on it.
"Meet me at the park on Galt Street at 5pm"
I looked down on my phone: 5:09pm. Fuck!
