Chapter 109

I finally chose something from my closet and put it on, while Shawn was just waiting for me. I changed in the bathroom and came back, wearing skinny black high waisted jeans with a white crop top and a flannel. I also added my watch and some rings, but not too much. I walked in my room and saw Shawn, siting on my bed. He heard me so he looked up, looking at me up and down. A big smile grew on his face and he immediately got up and walked to me.
Shawn: "Perfect" he said, pecking my lips.
We both smiled at each other, without saying anything for a few seconds.
Me: "So, I only have my hair to straighten and then I'm ready"
Shawn: "Really? Your hair looks good like that, Claire. We're gonna be late"
Me: "Shawn" I said, chuckling "We still have two hours left"
Shawn looked down at his phone and realized that I was right. He looked back at me and chuckled.
Shawn: "Okay then"
I walked to my vanity and got out my straightener. I started straightening my hair and Shawn just sat next to me and just looked at me.
Shawn: "I seriously don't understand you"
Me: "What do you mean?" I said, confused.
Shawn: "I don't know. Why would you straighten your hair? Your curly hair is so cute. I love it. And why would you wear makeup? You still look perfect without it. I'm sorry, I just don't get that"
I lightly chuckled at Shawn, that was very confused and very cute at the same time.
Me: "Shawn" I said, putting my straightener down and looking back at him "I don't care about how my face looks without makeup. I like wearing it. I like putting it on. I know you might not understand that, but I love makeup. And I'm gonna wear it however I look without it. And same for my hair. I like how it looks when it's straight. It's different than usual and yeah, I like different."
Shawn just looked at me, confused and speechless.
